Prostacet Review Does Prostacet Work?

Prostacet is a dietary supplement that aims to promote healthy prostate function by reducing free radical damage and prostate inflammation, two of the main symptoms that can lead to worsening prostate problems. While the product does not claim to be able to prevent prostate problems specifically, it does claim to be a general prostate health supplement with the ability to treat multiple aspects of prostate function. One of the main symptoms Prostacet claims to be able to treat is the improvement of urinary flow, which is often affected by an enlarged prostate, and is also known as benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH).

Prostacet Ingredients:

The main active ingredients included in Prostacet are Zinc, Chelate, Vitamin E, Selenium, and Beta Carotene. In addition to these ingredients, the product also contains an additional proprietary mixture which includes Saw Palmetto Extract, Lycopene Extract, Corn Silk Powder, along with several other herbs and extracts.

Does Prostacet Work?

Maybe, While Prostacet does not claim to be able to prevent future prostate problems, it does prove to be able to reduce already existing problems. Zinc, one of the active ingredients in Prostacet, was shown to significantly reduce individuals’ prostate problem risk, according to a study conducted by the National Health Institute (NIH). Another study conducted on Zinc, by the Agricultural Research Service (ARS), found that Zinc was able to reduce the levels of proteins found in prostate cells, and inhibited its reproduction. While Zinc seems like a miracle ingredient, it has also been show in several studies that the consumption of too much Zinc, over 100mg a day, can actually increase the risk for prostate problems.

In addition to Zinc, Vitamin E and Selenium have both been found to have positive effects on the prostate. These two ingredients are thought to be effective against the spread of prostate problems. However, a study conducted by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), showed both of the ingredients to have no effect on prostate problems.

Is Prostacet Safe?

Yes, While the ingredients in Prostacet should provide no negative side effects, it is important that individuals monitor the amount of their Zinc consumption daily, as to much Zinc can cause serious health issues.

Although Prostacet does not contain many ingredients that have been proven to treat the prostate for radical cells, it may be able to produce some lasting effects. However, these results will fall in comparison to those seen by more reputable products on the market, such as Vasotrexx or Prostovar.
