Betarol Review Does Betarol Work:

Betarol is an all-natural dietary supplement that claims to have the ability to promote prostate health by inhibiting one specific enzyme which attacks the prostate gland. However, the manufacturer of the product does not state which enzyme it inhibits, or provide any clinical research to back up this claim. Betarol does contain many ingredients that are commonly found in reliable prostate supplements such as Saw Palmetto, Pumpkin Seed Oil, and Zinc. These active ingredients have been commonly thought to work quickly to reduce prostate swelling and inflammation, improve erectile strength, and reduce urinary problems caused by prostate enlargement. The product also contains selenium, which has been reported to reduce a man’s risk for prostate issues.

The main active ingredients in Betarol include Beta-Sitosterol, Pygeum Africanum, Saw Palmetto, Isoflacones, Selenium, Zinc, and Pumpkin Seed Oil

Does Betarol Work?

Maybe, Based off of a 2009 study reported in the Journal of Urology, it was stated that the ingredient Saw Palmetto worked to significantly reduce symptoms that are caused by the enlargement of the prostate, which primarily includes difficulty urinating. While many scientists believe that Saw Palmetto is just as effective treating as prescription drugs in treating the prostate, it is not a definite cure just yet, although the results are promising.

Aside from the Saw Palmetto that is included in the Betarol formula, another active ingredient that has been shown to treat the prostate is Selenium. Unfortunately, recent studies have been proving that Selenium is nowhere near as effective as Saw Palmetto. According to a study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA), it has been shown that men who took Selenium for up to six months did not see any significant decrease in symptoms leading to prostate problems. Currently, the general consensus about Selenium is that it does not help to reduce prostate problems or any related symptoms, such as inflammation or pain. Fortunately for Betarol, Selenium is also not likely to cause any dangerous side effects.

Is Betarol Safe?

Yes, while there are no side effects associated with any of Betarol’s ingredients, it is important for users to be careful with their dietary Zinc intake. Scientific studies have shown that it is easy to overdose on Zinc, which can cause serious complications, such as corrosion of the stomach lining and interference with copper and iron absorption.

Betarol Final Grade: Grade: C

Betarol does have several ingredients which have been shown to reduce inflammation of the prostate, such as Saw Palmetto, but there is no specific evidence that proves it can improve erectile strength or even help to reduce the size of the prostate. Ultimately, this product performs under expectations and earns a fairly average C grade.
