Treedo Glucosamine is a European health supplement that claims to improve the health of the cartilage and joints, preventing the joint degradation caused by poor calcium supplementation. It also claims to improve joint lubrication--a key benefit that may reduce the inflammation and pain caused by arthritis, a painful joint disease. Although they haven't said how fast it works, it does claim to combat the joint and cartilage effects caused by old age.

Do the ingredients in Treedo Glucosamine help improve joint health?

Although Treedo Glucosamine claims it can improve the health of the cartilage, this simply isn't true. According to recent evidence posted by WebMD.com, glucosamine and chondroitin have only been shown to reduce joint pain and inflammation caused by joint-affecting diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis. Furthermore, omega-3 fatty acids have only been shown to affect inflammation caused by arthritis, and has never been shown to affect the health of the cartilage. Although Treedo Glucosamine may play a key role in arthritis, there simply isn't enough proof to substantiate its claims it can improve the health of the cartilage.

Is Treedo Glucosamine safe?

Yes. It may cause some mild side effects, however, including stomach upset and diarrhea. These effects have not been considered severe.

Treedo Glucosamine may improve the joint pain caused by arthritis, but it has not been clinically shown to improve the health of the cartilage or joints. This isn't to discount this product as ineffective—as a joint pain supplement, it's very effective—but it does not deliver on any of the key promises made by them.
