Zinc affects the prostate by slowing down the development of prostate problems.

So what's the catch? Both of these ingredients only reduce the impact of abnormal cell growth inside the prostate. It won't improve problems such as BPH. This also means it can't reduce problems caused by an enlarged prostate, such as urinary difficulty and incomplete bladder emptying. But don't count out the power of these ingredients: reducing your risk for prostate problems is just as important as BPH.
