Hydraplenish is the all-natural supplement from the manufacturer Nature’s Way and is said to offer improvement towards the skins health, joints and connective tissues therefore lowering risks of premature aging or arthritis. It also claims to differ from many other supplements of its kind due to the inclusion of BioCell Collagen 2, which is the patented collagen complex that’s claimed to be proven for maintaining healthier connective tissue and the joint surrounding synovial fluid.
Many experts have made claims of healthier connective tissue playing a role in joint pain and inflammation reduction caused by cartilage breakdown which often leads to problems of arthritis. The company website lists the product and several others, there are no prices included but there is a where to by section for consumers to type in their zip codes for store locations. The official company website does list helpful information about each product and full contact details but it’s not an overly attractive website and the amount of information available could be increased.
Ingredients in Hydraplenish are BioCell Collage 2 and the proprietary blend of Chondroitin Sulfate, Hydrolyzed Collagen 2 and Hyaluronic Acid. Any additional ingredients are unknown.
There’s a possibility it could work but it wouldn’t be greatly as effective as other proven brands on the market. A Northwestern University 2010 study reported Collagen Type 2 supplements might offer replacement of cartilage loss or reduced because of arthritis but the supplements are still in development throughout several labs undergoing plenty of animal testing. Hydraplenish cannot possibly contain the same formula undergoing scientific development. Chondroitin and Hyaluronic Acid have not been proven to reduce Osteoarthritis associated joint pain.
While somewhat ineffective, ingredients within Hydraplenish have proven to be clinically safe for daily use. This supplement is not 100% safe for women who are pregnant or currently breast-feeding because ingredients could transfer to breast milk or directly to the fetus.
A Grade of D has been given for Hydraplenish because there is only the possibility of it being effective. We couldn’t find any customer testimonials although the manufacturer claims its product to offer joint health improvement. There isn’t enough available evidence to show Hydraplenish ingredients can provide the benefits consumers would purchase to receive but it is a safe product for daily use. We’d recommend trying other joint health supplements before purchasing this one at least until information surfaces such as clinical studies.
