 Dr. Wichai Cherdshewasart Butea Superba has been used for hundreds of years as a sexual invigorator and overall good health remedy by the people of Thailand. "Dr. Wichai", as he is known, has numerous scientific degrees, but he is really considered an Ethnopharmacologist. Ethnopharmacology is the study the biological properties of plants and plant components as potential medicinal remedies. Many valuable drugs in the world today ( taxol, atropine, ephedrine, tubocurarine, digoxin, morphine, guanidine, physostigmine) came to use through the study of indigenous plant remedies. Through his research he developed a unique extraction and preparation process while identified and isolating the unique active component in Butea superba, that makes it such an effective compound for erectile function issues .This difficult yet very rewarding task took him over 12 years to accomplish. His efforts have resulted in what is being called by some as the most significant breakthrough in the are of erectile function. He has proven that Butea superba has an 82.4% success rate at improving erectile function and quality and for providing a wide range of sexual benefits, without the use of synthetic drugs or dangerous chemicals.

Dr. Wichai's Experience:
Currently "Dr. Wichai" is a Professor in the Biology department at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. It is often referred to as "The Harvard of Thailand," for it's high academic standards and the accomplishments of its faculty. He received his Bachelor of Science in Zoology in 1975, and then followed it us by getting a Masters Degree in Zoology two years later in 1977.
He earned his Masters of Science in Molecular Biology in 1986 and obtained his doctorate, with great distinction in 1991, at the Vrije University in Brussels, Belgium. In 1989 he was awarded the Certificate in Plant Biotechnology by the ICRO-University Complutense in Madrid, Spain.
In 1993, Dr. Wichai was honored by the Professorship Fund of the Faculty of Science, Chulalongkorn University. His outstanding research achievements and findings resulted in more than 20 articles in international publications, text and method books, proceedings and symposia, and laid the ground work for his future work with Butea superba.
In 1996, Dr. Wichai won the prestigious Thai Society for Biotechnology coveted Taguchi Prize, by the Taguchi Fund, from the for his Outstanding Research in the field of Biotechnology.
Dr. Wichai began his research on Butea superba in 1991, first by traveling all over rural parts of northern Thailand to search for and identify the best, most potent strains of Butea superba. He achieved this through examining botanical characteristics, chemical analysis, consumption history, toxicology testing, as well as laboratory and non human clinical trails.
In 1998 Bhumibol of Thailand appointed him to Thailand's National Board of Biosafety, a group which concerns itself with protecting and preserving the natural plants that are found only in Thailand. The international organization Greenpeace praised his efforts to ban genetically modified foods from Thailand in one of their recent high-profile international campaigns.
Dr. Wichai has astounded the scientific community with his discovery. His breakthrough discovery is no accident. He has spent over a 12 years researching, studying and testing Butea superba both out in the jungles of Thailand, and his laboratory. In 2003 his landmark human clinical trial was presented to the scientific community for the first time. It was instantly met with rave reviews and praise. He work was quickly validated by leading scientific and medical journals around the world. He has been making speeches and appearances internationally, and in 2004 was nominated for the Royan Institutes prestigious International Biomedical Researcher of the Year Award. This is an annual prize for the outstanding research in reproductive biomedicine and Ethnopharmacology.
While doing all of this ground-breaking work, Dr. Wichai continues to his work as a professor, which he finds extremely rewarding. Also worth noting it that Dr. Wichai speaks five different languages and enjoys sports. |

The Academy consists of the following institutions: Xi Yuan Hospital (1st Institute of Clinical Medicine. The Institute of Medical Literature, the Institute of Information on Traditional Chinese China. At present, the total staffs of the Academy are over 4, 300, of which more than 3,000 are scientific researchers. There are over 790 professors, associate professors of persons with equivalent qualification, with a complete range of departments now at the Academy. Approved by the Academic Degree Committee of the State Council, the Academy has been authorized conferring master's degree in 17 specialists, and conferring doctor's degree in 11 specialists. Up to now, 592 graduates with master's degree and 48 with doctor's degree have been trained.
Splendid achievements have been obtained in developing TCM over the last 40 years since the founding of the Academy. So far 612 research projects have been completed, among which Qinghaosu (Artemisinin) has been awarded the National Invention Prize, and 7 projects won the National Scientific Progress Prize. In addition, 13 TCM specialists of the Academy have been awarded diplomas of "Albert Einstein World Award of Science" by World Cultural Council for their remarkable achievements in scientific research.
The Academy serves as an important garden plot for academic and information exchanges in TCM, academic publications for both domestic and overseas distributions are as follows: The Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine, Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion, China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica, and Chinese Journal of Medical History.
In cooperation with the World Health Organization, the Academy has established 3 collaborating centers for traditional medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion, and Chinese materia medica in recent years. Specialists and scholars of the Academy have been constantly sent abroad for lectures, advanced studies and attending international academic conferences. At the same time, medical experts from more than 100 countries and regions have been invited to the academy for visits and lectures. |

 Toi Cook is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the eighth round of the 1987 NFL Draft. A 5'11", 188 lb (85 kg). defensive back from Stanford University, Cook played in 11 NFL seasons from 1987 to 1997.
